What is this technique called?

Hi

There's a technique used by coppers to stop a car in which they bump into the other vehicle's back in a way that the vehicle spins or simply turns and comes to a halt. I remember hearing some specific term for this technique, dang i can't recall it now!
Here's a video which shows how it works. Despite the initial unsuccessful tries they finally do it:
