What is there? or What are there?

Though the answer is " There are two boys in the class." Can we ask that "what are there in the class?" Or just ask "what is there in the class? " Or " Who is there in the class?"

This is the wrong form. You can say the following: "Who was in the class?" "How many boys are in the class?"

"Was there a teacher in the class?"
