What is the way/step to improve drafting skills

As in the Technology era, communication have become very fast and easy way to convey message to other. Although, there are lot of dictionary available which tell us deep detail of any vocable.

Now, Despite this i face issue while drafting because the message convey to other people in writing is art. Therefore, i request you to pls share idea/experienc , how one improve drafting skills.
