Hi. What is the right tense in the foloowing context?
'I have sent you lots of emails and letters. Haven't I?
I ----------(write)you another long letter today, but it isn't finished yet.'
I personally think we should use past continuous to talk about unfinished action in the past. But the use of present perfect continuous also sound natural.
I would be grateful if you could explain me which tense should be used in that context.
Regards
