What is the right choice?
They had been painting the house and by 10 they still..............................
a- finished b- hadn't finished c- haven't finished d- finishing
In my view point the right choice isn't any of these four choice as the best choice should be 'didn't finish'.
This is what I think, please help me find the most suitable choice of the four given choice.
