1.People ………………… work when they are older for many reasons. a) continued b) have continued to c) continuing to d) continue to 2-I …………… working with my company but now I want to look for another job. a) enjoyed b) enjoying c) have enjoyed d) enjoyed to
As I see it, in the first sentence the right choice is d) continue if we consider work as a noun. Also we can choose B) have continued to if we consider work as a verb. My second explanation is (d) is right because we are talking about something that happen in real life. & (d) could be right because we talk about an action happened in the past and continued to the present. Please help me to choose and give reasons
Regarding the second sentence, It could be a) enjoyed if we consider it a past action as he enjoyed working in the company and now he is looking for another job. And c) have enjoyed could be right also if we consider it as a past action but related to the future as he is still looking for another job and he is still working in the same company.
Please help me to choose .

"continue work" (with "work" as a noun, as you say) is possible in some contexts. It does not seem likely here. The answer to (1) is almost certainly supposed to be "continue to".
I think the answer to (2) is more likely "have enjoyed".
