What is the proper word to describe this?

Lets say I went to see the doctor today because I have a chronic illness that I've been seeing many doctors for and when the doctor asks me to let him see the reports of the tests(blood/x-ray) that I've done before and I forgot to bring them and I told him I'm going to bring them tomorrow. And the next day when I come to see him again the nurse asks why are you here for. And when I'm answering her if I say "Im here to follow up with my yesterday's appointment with the doctor..." Is "follow up" the correct word to use or is there a better word?

Thanks so much.

No, that is roundabout in any case. In English, get to the point: 'I'm here to give the doctor my test results, which I forgot to bring yesterday.'
