0 Using "then" in a comparative sentence is never correct, and it's a mistake that many natives - especially on the internet - tend to make.02br

To use proper english, when should I use then or than?
0
"Than" is used to compare objecs/people/ideas etc.. (ex. I like toast better than plain bread) "Then" is always supposed to used to describe a sequence of events. (I looked at the toast, then the plain bread). A proper use of both would be... I looked at the toast, then the plain bread, and decided that I like toast better than plain bread.

You said - I also think that it is fashionable to use "then" than "than".

Frankly, this seems like a ridiculous suggestion.
It's just a typo.
