What is the politest way to ask for a drink?

Suppose in an interview, and your interviewer ask you whether you want a still water or sparkling water?

What is the politest way to say "still water", or say "I don't need it"?

Thanks in advance

I have never heard of 'still water'.

"Just plain water, please."

I have heard the expression used in continental Europe to mean non-sparkling water. I would tell the waiter "tap water is fine" and let it go.
