What is the meaning of this sentence?

"the list of books at the end is subjective".

I know each word, but I do not know the meaning of the sentence.

Could somebody help?

Thanks very much

The books on the list at the end of the book, chapter or article have been chosen subjectively; that is, they have been chosen according to what this writer likes or thinks is good, rather than accroding to any objective external criteria.
