What is the meaning of the word 'ON" here?

I want to come to know the meaning of the word "ON" in following sentences:

I am on other project, I will start my work later. (Does ON mean working?)

You might be on to something... (Does ON mean something searching?)

I have been onto another project. (Same as sentence number one).
