What is the meaning of "That's a kind of sweet"?

Hi, everyone.
I watched a youtube clip and find a sentence that I really don't understand:

here is the conversation:
Man: "Did we kill it?"
Man: "Whao!!!!"
Man: "Playing dead, That's a kind of sweet."
Lady:What're you talking about?"

Question :
What's the meaning of "That's a kind of sweet"?
I only know that sweet is a taste ,and besides, we have hot(spicy), sour, bitter.
But I think the "sweet" here isn't really meaning a taste!

Please help!

" "A kind of sweet" could refer to "a type of candy," but I can't see how that would fit into the dialogue you quote. "That's kind of sweet" doesn't seem to make much sense either, but I think it's more likely.

I can't get the video to play, but my guess is that the line is "That's kind of sweet," meaning "That's rather nice."

when 'that's sweet' is used to describe something inedible (not food) it means whatever is being talked about makes them smile, just like a piece of candy would.
