What is the meaning of "naked lunch"

I saw the movie, named "naked lunch".
I didn't know the title meaning and some dialogs such as:
no glot clom fliday
I search on the internet but I find nothing useful, to help.
Thanks to all.

Burroughs states in his introduction to his book that Jack Kerouac suggested the title. " I haven't read the book for at least 40 years now, but 'no glot clom fliday' looks like vaudeville Chinese-English for 'I don't have to come Friday'. Or maybe 'clom' represents a noun.

Thanks in advance

Perhaps the language is too subtle for a learner. Literary language often is.

a frozen moment when everyone sees what is on the end of every fork = a very surreally naturalistic experience.

It is just as odd in English, too. Avant-garde writers can be inscrutable.

Exactly! and sometimes, some translators, have no enough knowledge.

Naked lunch is a collection of writings that took place over a period of years... these where mostly drug enduced hallucinations and wild interpretations of reality... Burroughs addiction to drugs (esp. heroin) is the driving force behind this book and if you read it knowing this you can see that he's showing extreme cases of addiction... wether its *** or drugs or power, he takes it to the next l

I always saw it as being a metaphor, suddenly seeing what it is we are eating, what we are consuming in our culture, a revelation of horrid truth.
