What is the meaning about "mootkin" ?

I am of French origin and unfortunately I have a doubt for the word "kin".

What is the meaning about "mootkin" ?.
  • This name makes you think of "the family" or "parent"
  • It mentions nothing unpleasant ?
  • This name is it objectionable for a video game site ?

It doesn't mean anything that I know of and it's in none of my dictionaries either. Kin is family. ) will not change but there may be some other benefit in having the discussion.

Kin is family. Moot means the outcome of a discussion (or argument, etc.) will not change but there may be some other benefit in having the discussion.
