what is the exact word for...

You want to discribe a certain understanding between two individuals, and that level of understanding does not require verbal exchange. The two individuals just understand each other as if they share one mind.

Is there a word in English that describes that kind of understanding?

They have a "rapport" -a word taken from the French and pronounced without the "t".

Or

They are on the same wavelength.

They possibly also have a mutual understanding.

In Chinese, they have two characters to convey the meaning.

The first one means "silent", and the second means "connection" or "agreement".

This is what you would see between two circus performers doing their routines on stage.

I thought there must be equivalence in English.

thanks a lot! guys.
