what is the exact meaning of this expression?
"The main distribution of the snakehead fish is found in the Indo- Pacific area with other of the twenty five species found from the Amur across China, Indonesia, Burma, western India, Sri Lanka and into the tropical areas of Africa."
does it mean that there are 25 species in total, some of them live in the following areas?

The main species/variety is found in the Indo- Pacific area.

i suspect the writer has made an error. in any case, "the other of the something" is not a conventional English expression as far as i can tell. it is either "another 25 species" or "the rest of 25 species". or better still, rewrite the whole sentence.
