What is the difference between the sentences?

There might be more to it than what is actually shown
There might be more to it than what was shown
There might be more to it than what has been shown
There might have been more to it than what was shown

Well, they are all missing full stops.

I also might be tempted to delete the word "what", though this is not actually wrong.
