What is the difference between sexim and (male) chauvinism?

They have basically the same meaning which is the one of: considering women as inferior, think that they are less intelligent and able than men. I think the nuance is that sexim is more related to differentiate between work positions that are more adequate to each gender. Chauvinism is more related to regard women’s opinions as irrelevant. Am I right?
