What is the difference between " drab" and "dull"

Hi, I would like to learn what the difference between"drab" and "dull" is? I went to my dictionary and found the same explanations for both words.
But in the following sentence, they are put side by side. So...help pls.

Her days are drab and dull, just like her hair, her clothes, and her attitude.

I think both meanings often overlap . I think of "dull" as gray, lifeless, on the verge of boring. "drab", well I found this among others: - depressing in character or appearance So you see, it's about the same...
