What is the difference between Inkwell and Inkpot ?

Hi everyone,

Some words seem to me have the same meaning but I don't think so.

Anyway, I am readly concern about the difference between Inkwell and Inkpot !!!

Any, which one is more formal?

Hi,

I am readly concern about the difference between Inkwell and Inkpot !!!

You might like to note that, at least in my country and culture, these objects and these words to describe them are old-fashioned and basically not used any more.

I don't remember the last time that I saw these objects or heard these words.
