What is the difference among Would, Would be and Would been?

Hi, Guys!

This is the simplest question but I don't know.

What is the difference among Would, Would be and Would been? Where we use these three?

Regards,

Qasim Ali

Hi, Mister Micawber!

First of all thanks for your co-operation but I am really sorry because I couldn't understand the difference between "Would" and "Would be" that you wrote in your reply. Explain me briefly why we need "be" with "Would"? Give me more examples please.

I will be grateful to you for this kind act.

Best Regards,

Qasim Ali.

There is nothing special about 'would be', Quasim. 'Be' is just a verb, and all verbs can be used with 'would': would come, would go, would think, would seem, would be, etc.

"Would" cannot stand on its own, that's why it's called an Auxiliary verb. You cannot say:

"I would happy."

but you can say

"I would be happy."

That's the difference.
