What is the correct way of saying?

what is the correct way of saying the following expression: IF YOU HELP ME TO BE HAPPY or IF YOU HELP ME BE HAPPY are they both correct?

I can only comment on the British English form, as I am English. Here we would definitely say "if you help me to be happy".

However, the meaning of the sentence implies the speaker is not currently happy and therefore another suggestion may be "if you help me to become happy".

If I was Stateside, though, and heard "if you help me be happy" I would think it s
