so it's not right to say st. lu-wee?

nope. It's defintely pronounced "Saynt Lu-iss" And I know this is a little picky, but I'm a bit of a stickler for this kind of thing. The word "pronounciation" doesn't exist. It's supposed to be "pronunciation." Pronounce it "pro-nun-see-a-shun."
