What is the best title for me?

When I was a post-graduate student, I was assigned to supervise a class of undergraduate students living in the residence hall, mainly acting as a counselor for students, being a familiar first resource for students with academic or institutional questions, and enforcing residence policies. So i was an "undergraduate resident assistant"? or an "undergraduate residential advisor"? or other title? thanks

Thanks. I was paid for this position and I did have to advise them from a personal perspective.

I might as well go with RA.

Hold on, Evan.

Being paid changes everything - as long as you were being paid to advise students on things that had to do with their academic advancement. If you were being paid to tell them to "just say no" or things on that level, the yeah, I think RA is right. But if you were being paid to help them choose which courses to take and how to study for exams and other things along those li

I just reviewed the definiton of RA on Wikipedia and I think the duties of my job are close to that of RA. I wouldn't help them choose which course to take but if asked, I would give my advice from my personal experience. Since i'd been through what they were geting through, my experience could help them with any issue they encountered. I was just there for them to consult and helped the faculty e

Considering all you've said, Resident Assistant is good.
