I'm writing this question although i was sent some opinions by some teachers because i wanna get lots of opinions on this matter.

For the given context, in which you are asking the addressee to select you, i.e., choose you, you can't very well thank them for choosing you because they haven't done that yet.
You'll need "considering". The word "potential" is troubling, though. You should remove it.

Because it duplicates the idea of "considering".
They are considering you for a contractor. That means you are already potentially a contractor. You don't have to say it twice.
