This seems like a strange question. Do they mean a particular bus/coach? Which one?

Best wishes, Clive

I have no idea.
I supposed is a very simple question, and any english man (not a robot) is able to respond.

Hi,
I saw 6 buses today. Each had a different three first letters on its licence plate. Is that not the system in your country?

I f you still need this the letters areP. C. V.They stand for passenger carrying vehicle.before we voined Europe they were Public Service Vehicles

Do you mean CDL? I'm not sure if that's correct, but maybe it is the same thing. You have to have a cdl to drive a big truck or a forklift, etc...

CDL just means Current Driving Licence. Anyone driving lorries and trucks needs an HGV licence; anyone driving a bus or coach needs a PSV licence.

I've never seen an U.K Driving License.
Could you post a photo about it?
Thanks alot.

Hi,

It stands for PCV - Passenger Carrying Vehicle. This is a vehicle (bus/minibus/coach) that is used to carry passengers / people.

Hope this helps someone!
