What is that Term?? Help please!!

Hello. I need help.

When you're walking through a shopping mall and suddenly everything goes quiet. By chance, everyone in the mall stops talking at the exact same time - What is the term for this phenomenon. I know there is one, i just dont know what it is. I'm doing a philosophical study on 'silence' and any help would be much appreciated.

"An angel passing over" is one idiom/euphemism I have heard for when people all fall silent at once.
