0I took a class in this a LONG time ago, but remember very little. The class was part of a graduate psychology program with a statistical emphasis. Briefly, we used to develop and test theoretical models, attempting to come up with an idea of how different combinations of variables "explained" or accounted for something. Some models did better than others.02br
