What is plus - value?

Hi! This word really driving me crazy. I came upon it in the following text:
You must take a risk and convert your cash money in property of some production factors if you would like to look for something to make plus-values for your own.

What does this word mean? Maybe this some kind of additional revenue or something, I have no idea. Help me, please! I'd really appreciate a tiny example of usage this word.Emotion: happy

"plus-value" means a profit, a capital gain or some other increase in value, it is often used in advertisements for investment "opportunities" . The text that you have included is very badly written. It might well be a bad translation of something more meaningful.
