What is negative question form to ask yourself!!!?

Hi everyone;

I never saw this kind of question and I never seen anyone use that Emotion: big smile, but in the class a student asked, and I'd like to know what's the answer, if there is any.

Sometimes we ask questions like: Am I right? Am I wrong? and so on... I wonder if there is any form of negative of this kind of questions... to ask something like: Am not I right!!!!?
If there is anything like that, where we use it?

Thanks

You can use one of these: Am I not right? Aren't I right? The second sentence looks funny but it's idiomatic English for the simple reason that speakers of English have used it for centuries.

  • No doubt some of those native speakers who think English should be logical and "grammatical" suggest it should be avoided.
