Hi there,
Non-native English, Global citizen here, grew up with the usual American pop-culture and British dramas, surrounded by foreign peers who all converse in English but with varying degrees of fluency. Depending on whom I'm conversing with, my accent (and fluency, to an extent) varies widely, from Malaysian to South African.
All in all, I've never really had any consistent reference of a specific English accent throughout my life, so I would say that mine is a bit of a global pastiche. But I do wonder though which English accent mine most closely resembles, like the voice in my head for example. So I'm doing a voice recording, which will hopefully be long enough for you to make a better judgement of it. Would appreciate if anyone can help me improving and securing my accent so it would stop changing all the time.
Thank you in advance.
