0 This isn't my field but, from what I understand, the term relates what is the ethical (right) way for medical practitioners (doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, others) to treat patients. For instance, doing no harm, maintaining confidentiality, not taking advantage of someone's sickness and helplessness, respecting the patient, etc. 0-
