Last day, I saw a film,there were some people covered by white clothes called  “Ku Klux Klan”. Would you tell me something?Thank you.

He wasn't be sarcastic about the question or the questioner. He was being sarcastic towards members of the KKK, most of whom would probably see themselves as very nice, regular people.
