What is it meaning here?

My years of angst towards you began to destroy the things that mattered most to me. I will never understand your actions, but I refuse to let it them consume me any longer.

I don't know the following parts for vocabulary and grammar.
"mattered most to me" -for vocabulary and meaning
"let it them consume me any loner" -for grammar
