What is invigilator exam?

Hi, Am I correct to put the word "invigilator exam" at this sentence. When I was a student, I worked for my lecturer as an invigilator exam. I   watched the student who tried cheating at classroom

I'm sorry this is such a long answer.

First, I'm not sure if you mean "watched" or something more like "discovered" or "noticed". "watched" means that you looked at him steadily for some length of time, studying what he was doing, or waiting to see what he would do next.

Second, "at classroom" should, if I'm understanding you correctly, be "in the classroom", but it seems superfluous to say this. It's obvious that you're talking about cheating in an exam, and we all know the sort of places that exams take place in.

Third, "the student" should be "a student" (unless the student has already been mentioned, which appears not to be the case here).

Fourth, it seems odd that you, as a student, would be invigilating in exams sat by other students. There may be BrE/AmE differences in terminology here, but to me it only really makes sense if you are a university student (i.e. quite a lot older) invigilating in school exams sat by younger children. In this case, the word "pupil" gives a better contrast here (in BrE at least).

Fifth, the flow from the first to second sentence is poor. The second sentence needs some more words to help lead into it.

Putting all these points together, you might say:

"When I was a student, I worked for my lecturer as an exam invigilator. One day I discovered a pupil cheating."

Following this, the reader will expect some further description of what happened next, or what the outcome was.
