What is incorrect in the sentence below

Intimacy, love, and marriage are three different, if
interrelated, subjects.

The 'if interrelated' part seems erroneous to me but I can't find exactly what is the error.

The two things "three different" and "interrelated" are opposite in meaning so maybe they should be connected by a "but" or an "although.

You may also use those, but there is no problem with 'if'. It is quite natural.
