A quick question: is the word 'name' a concrete or an abstract noun? You can 'see' a name when written and you can also 'hear' one when spoken, which would make 'name' a concrete noun. However, does this word physically exist? No, which would make it an abstract noun.
As you can see, I'm torn as to which category of noun 'name' belongs. Can anyone shed some light?
Many thanks.
