What is appropriate noun for describing the details of photos?

Now, I want to talk about one of my favorite photos which is so lovely and special that I had that photograph enlarged and framed and also hung it in my bedroom where I can see it all the time I want since it reminds me of sweet memories and happy moments when my close friends and I got together, spent time with each other, and had fun together. Unfortunately, I don’t have clear memory regarding the exact time when the photo was taken, as it was quite a long time ago. Let me talk about the (features) of the picture that make it special for me . It was taken on top of a hill in a mountanious area....

I am not sure whethre 'feature' is correct or not?!
