What is an adverb, a verb, a pronoun, and an adjective

can any one please define these and give an example? can you also tell me what these are called like you know how punctuation deals with commas ans periods. (like a grouping category)

adverb is used to give more meaning to a verb, adjective or adverb itself.

eg. Some people make posts regularly. ( regularly is an adverb to modify the verb ' make ' ). To know if it is an adverb you can try to ask a question using ' How '

Q : How do people make posts.

A : They make posts regularly

verb is an action passing from subject to an object.

eg. I did it. ( the action from the subject ' I ' to the object ' it ' )

pronoun is a word to substitute a noun. Instead of using the noun again you use pronoun.

eg. Rachel is my friend. She is beautiful

She ( pronoun ) = Rachel

adjective is to elaborate what the thing is. ( To know if a word is an adjective, you can ask a question with ' What ' )

eg. This is a black cat. ( black is adjective )
