"run-on", not "running-on". A run-on sentence is two or more sentences strung together without any punctuation between them. Here's a run-on sentence: I drove to the grocery store and went in after I found a parking spot of course then I got some things and I paid for them but I found I had no money so it was very embarrassing and I left the store without the things that I wanted to buy and got in the car after that I just drove home and I told my friends what happened and they thought it was funny but I didn't because it was so embarrassing.
