In the sentense "My voice has a pattern, a kiddens, and there're changes in my tone, in the volume ..."

I've searched all resources I could, but cannot find a suitable meaning for it. And to be accurate, I attached the sound file to this thread. I wish that was not my misheard again this time.

It seems hard to me (an non-native speaker) to record what people says, do you have any idea for this kind of job, esp when you encounter a 'strange' word? And how to find the exact meaning of the word by steps?
