What is a "chop"?

Written in the year of 1858 in England: "Tell Delane and Lowe they will find a chop, if they have time to come from the House [of Commons?]."

Would someone please explain the meaning of "chop" in that quotation?

Thank you.

Who is speaking? Perhaps if they have time for a quick lunch break, they will find a lamb chop waiting for them.
