Hi, It certainly is a rather general word. However, I believe that, here, University applicants are asked to include a 'statement'. I think this means 'anything else you would like to tell us' that will help us to decide if we should accept you.

Would it go on a seperate piece of paper? Or what? What all is on it?

Hi,

Yes, I'd put it on a separate piece of paper. One page, or even half a pge, is probably enough to write.

Your 'autobiography' tells about your past.

Your statement should tell the school or college why they should accept you.

"I receive 100 applications every day, why should I accept you and not these other 99 people?" If you met the person and he asked you

but I've already said those kinds of things in my Reasons to become a massage therapist Emotion: smile

Hi,

Well, you said they wanted an autobiography and a statement. If there's also an application with reasons, perhaps you don't have anything to add on a statement.

Perhaps you might like to give longer reasons? Perhaps not? Treat it like you are answering the interview question - 'Is there anything else you want to tell us, before we decide?'

Good luck, Clive
