What I want to "share" is....

I have two questions regarding the sentence below.

"What I want to share is 'everyone has their own beauty.'"

(share as in tell everyone)

1)I just want to confirm that I could use the word "share" this way. Is it okay?
2) I'm quoting someone else's sentence. The part "everyone has their own beauty" was originally in quotes.
But since I"m quoting that person's full sentence, do I change the originally quoted portion into single quotes?

Also since the whole sentence as well the single-quoted portion end at the same place, which type of quotation do I use to end the sentence?

Thank you.
