What I mean...

"What I mean by this is sitting on the couch with the TV is off looking at each other and talking, devices are put away, giving each other undivided attention."

"What I mean by this is to sit on the couch with the TV off, to look at each other and to talk, devices put away, to give each other your undivided attention."

Could you please tell me whether my sentences are correct or not?

And thank you in advance.

JadelWhy is it "devices put away"
It is a nonfinite adverbial phrase. Your choice is not grammatically possible.
