What happens to the eggs?

Hello everyone Emotion: smile

I've got a question. What may happen to eggs when the water boils away? Are they burnt or frazzled? What expression should I use?

"The water boiled away and the eggs ....."

Thank you

I have never let the water boil away from my eggs, so I don't know what happens. Do they explode? Do they blacken?

What about frazzle? Can I say that my eggs were (got?) frazzled?

You could, but realize that 'frazzle' is quite casual and very vague.

Hi,

I associate 'frazzled' only with people. Your eggs got exhausted, stressed out?
Poor things.
