Which one is te correct form:

--You look upset. What happen? Or

--You look upset. What happened?

--You look upset. What happened?

The former is not grammatical, but you could say

--You look upset. What is happening ?



However, the common thing to say is the latter.

It all depends on whether the thing has finished or is still occuring.
