What goes in the blanks?

Toddlers were along with their toy cars using the wall as their tracks.

The toddlers __ the toy car __ the wall.

How would you say the above?

Is this natural or just grammatical?

Toddlers were along with their toy cars using the wall as their tracks.

Thanks

This doesn't make proper sense. I'm guessing that you may mean this:

The toddlers ran their toy cars along the top of the wall.

I'm not certain about the "top of" part.
