What goes in the blank [about basketball]

Lebron James averages .4 more/higher ___ in every stat categories than Kevin Durant.

What would go in the blank though? I keep wanting to say 'points' but 'ponits' is one of the categories, you can't say 'He averages .4 more point in points than Durant.'

What if you were talking about rebounds
'He averages .4 more point in rebounds than Durant.

That's why I think 'points' doesn't work. Do you have an idea?

Thanks
