What 'for' is indicating here ?

"Some street kids are getting pain in the rear for the old man."

Does it mean the old man is being annoyed by the street kids ?
Or
the street kids were put on this purpose by the old man ?

This use of "getting ... for" is not natural English, and the intended meaning is not very clear. Also, it should also be " a pain in the rear".

I guess the sentence is trying to say that some street kids are becoming a pain in the rear for the old man, but as GPY has pointed out, it is poorly written.

Thanks!
I'll really be even more appreciative if you can make a sentence of my intended meaning which is the first one " The old man is being annoyed by the street kids"
